HBOT Hyperbaric Oxygen Cell Recovery
In the golden recovery period after surgery, hyperbaric oxygen helps maximize your healing potential
How We Do It
Treatment parameters: about 50 minutes per session at a pressure of 1.5 ATA; comfortable and painless throughout.
Treatment method: you breathe high-concentration oxygen inside a hyperbaric chamber while trained staff monitor pressure and your condition.
Frequency and number of sessions: customized by your physician based on the type of surgery, your constitution, and your recovery.
Benefits for Post-Surgical Recovery
Deep oxygen delivery: raises tissue oxygen levels to help wounds heal faster.
Modulates inflammation: reduces swelling, bruising, and pain.
Supports rebuilding: supports new capillary formation and collagen production, improving tissue quality.
Strengthens defenses: enhances the bacteria-killing ability of white blood cells, lowering the risk of infection.
Who It's For
After minimally invasive surgery such as hysteroscopy or laparoscopy
After intimate-area surgery or treatments such as vaginal laser or radiofrequency
Those whose wounds heal slowly or who bruise and swell easily
Those prone to anemia, or with diabetes, a smoking habit, or poor circulation (after evaluation by a physician)
Treatment Process
Clinic assessment and health education
Entering the chamber and learning to equalize ear pressure
Pressurization to 1.5 ATA (about 5 minutes)
40 minutes of breathing high-concentration oxygen (you may rest or nap)
Gradual depressurization and exiting the chamber (about 5 minutes)
Normal activities the same day
FAQ
Q: Is it uncomfortable? Most people feel only brief ear fullness at the start of pressurization, and our staff will teach you how to equalize ear pressure easily.
Q: How many sessions do I need? When is the best time to start? This is adjusted to your individual situation; generally, the earlier you start, the better you can make use of the golden recovery period. Your physician will plan and determine the most suitable frequency.
Q: Can it be combined with other treatments? It can be scheduled at staggered times with pelvic floor training (such as the EMSella chair) and intimate laser/radiofrequency treatments, with your physician coordinating your post-surgical care plan.
Q: Are there risks? A few people may experience ear pressure discomfort or sinus discomfort; oxygen toxicity or temporary changes in vision are very rare. A professional team monitors you throughout, and precautions are explained before treatment.
Safety & Contraindications
Not recommended or requires special evaluation: untreated pneumothorax, recent acute ear or sinus infection, poorly controlled asthma, unstable epilepsy, recent ear surgery, pregnancy, etc. Final decisions are based on your physician's evaluation.
